Robotics
FRC Team Programmer
At my school, I work as a lead programmer for our FRC (First Robotics Competition) Team. I have programmed auto-aligning projectile launching systems based on vision, used motion profiling and control loops for smooth and continuous motion, and created complex autonomous programs for robots. We have won the Rookie Trifecta Awards, which is given to the rookie team that shows potential, engineering prowess, and team spirit. We and qualified for world competitions. |
FLL Team Mentor
I work as a mentor for a community First Lego League robotics team and an FLL team at school. I lead meetings, answers questions, facilitate discussions, and guide the team. I aid in programming and in robot design. I also helped them create and develop a system to notify the city when street lights go out to maintain safety by implementing smart light bulb adapters. They also took it a step further and filed for a patent. |

Some of places I have hiked include Mt. Diablo, one of the largest lone-standing mountains in the bay area, Mt. Shasta, Mt. St. Helena, Half Dome, Pinnacles, Red Wood Forest, and more. A few of the places I have gone backpacking are Yosemite, Little Yosemite, and a famous trail called Skyline-to-the-Sea.
